Cycling has been the heartbeat of my life for over three decades. I’ve lived the sport from every angle:

As an Athlete:

I know the grit required to finish the Etape du Tour, the Fred Whitton, and the Cingles du Ventoux.

As a Mentor:

I’ve guided my own son through the transition from youth rider to U23 international racer.

Best for: Charity challenges, fitness, and building confidence.

Discuss goals and aspirations, levels of fitness and availability

• Bespoke Monthly Training Plan:

Tailored to your specific schedule (work, family, education) and chosen event

• Training Zones:

Utilising Heart Rate /Percieved effort

• Monthly Review:

Check in on your progress to ensure you’re staying on track

• Event Preparation:

Focus on logistics, nutrition basics, and mental preparation.

Package 2:

THE COMPETITOR

(£95pm)


Best for: Racers, TT, Gran Fondo riders, and performance seekers.

• Initial assessment:

Goals setting, previous training history and availability

• Performance Analysis:

Power profiling Using Critical power to accurately set baseline training zones

• Bespoke weekly training plan:

Dynamic plan tailored to your performance

• Priority Support:

Frequent communication via training peaks and plan edits where required

• Regular testing:

Video call to discuss progress and agree up coming focus

• DS Mentorship:

Tactical advice for racing and pacing, gained from years in the team car.

Not at all. Velovate is built on inclusivity. Whether you’ve just bought your first road bike or you’re training for an international event, the coaching is bespoke to your starting point.

This is my specialty. Having balanced a corporate career and family life myself, I build your sessions around your life—not the other way around. For youth and junior riders education comes first.

Data helps, but it isn’t a requirement for the Enthusiast level. Heart Rate or "Perceived Exertion" works great. For the Competitor package, a HR or power meter is recommended.

Yes. One of our core pillars is building belief and confidence. We discuss strategy and mental resilience to help you perform when the pressure is on.
